Competition for amateur ensembles:

The competition for amateur saxophonists focuses on ensembles from saxophone duettes to saxophone orchestras - also in combination with other instruments; a saxophone happening with international encounters! On the first two workshop days, the ensembles are coached for the competition by jury members of the professional competition, as well as with ensemble directors from music schools from Berlin and Brandenburg. The jury for this part of the competition will consist of these ensemble directors. The two winners of the competition are invited to produce a CD in the studio of the State Music Academy under the supervision of an ensemble leader and participate in the final concert on 14. August in the Joseph Joachim Hall of the UdK.

The participation fee is € 180 per ensemble, regardless of the number of participants in  the ensemble. In addition to coaching and participation in the competition, the fee includes free entry for the opening concert of the jurors, free entry for the final concert and individual passive participation in the competitions and the master classes.

Fees:

Only from applicants who have transferred the participation fee of € 180 to the account of the State Music Academy Berlin will be considered. In the case of delays in the banking transaction process, a copy of the transfer receipt is deemed acceptable proof.
